About Cheryl Turner
Cheryl has been a practicing clinical therapist for over 20 years. Her professional interests include trauma recovery and the fostering of resilience in children, youth and adults. She enjoys teaching, public speaking and writing on a variety of psycho-social and mental health issues and can be found working for the Provincial health system, teaching at a local institution or volunteering time to make presentations, in addition to her private practice.
Cheryl is married and lives in Victoria, BC. Cheryl is fortunate to be part of a dynamic growing family; The mother of 3 adult sons, mother-in-law to one daughter-in law, and grandmother to several wonderful grandchildren. As part of a blended family; Cheryl is also a step mother to two young adults.
Cheryl's interests include kayaking, bicycling, anything that has to do with the water, and continued learning and personal growth.
